Lež... aneb Komedie o pravdě

Alice and Paul are a fairly happy and contented married couple. One day they are expecting dinner guests – their long-time friends Laurence and Michel, who also live in a harmonious marriage. But Alice is uneasy and asks her husband to call off the dinner at the last minute. He, of course, resists and wants to know why he should do so. But she doesn't want to tell him the real reason: that morning she saw Michel kissing a strange woman in town. Alice is thus faced with a great moral dilemma: will she do her friend a greater service by telling her or by keeping it from her? They both decide to postpone dinner, but by then their friends are ringing the doorbell and the evening must pass. Alice and Paul's uncertainty and different attitudes lead to many humorous situations and an interesting denouement...
