Black Coffee is a South African DJ and producer who has become one of the most prominent figures in global electronic music. Born Nkosinathi Maphumulo in Umlazi, Kwa-Zulu Natal, he began his career in music in the mid-90s. However, it wasn’t until 2003 that he released his debut album, which showcased his deep, soulful approach to house music to the world.
