Defqon.1 Weekend Festival 2023

Q-dance’s yearly gathering of hardcore fans has somewhat of legendary status in The Netherlands. Defqon is one hardcore lovers can’t miss. The lines at the merch stands are incredibly long (though totally worth it), because this is more a family than a festival. Three days, 65.000 thousand hardcore enthusiasts, 14 stages with names like Outsiders, Brennan Heart & Wildstylez, and the retiring DJ The Prophet: let the madness begin.

Luminosity Beach Festival 2023

If you’re feeling some trance this weekend, head over to Zandvoort’s beach for three days of classic, progressive, and melodic tunes. Besides headliners like Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, and Paul van Dyk, many top-notch selectors like Christina Novelli, Alessandra Roncone, and Maria Healy crank up the heat. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen…

Spoorpark Live

Tilburg’s ‘green lung’ Spoorpark is a mix between industrial and idyllic. This weekend, the park (which is surrounded by Tilburg’s skyscrapers) serves as the stage for two days of popping live acts. Hit prodigy Joost plays alongside powerhouse ensemble Jungle By Night, Indonesian psych-folk band Nusantara Beat, and soulful singer Kymara.

Complex Festival 2023

Complex Festival sees Maastricht shaaaake this weekend. The underground club takes its stellar programming outdoors for two days of hard dancing on Saturday and Sunday. Among the line-up of over forty acts are Charlie Sparks, LENA, and Stan Christ, so get ready for jungle, techno, and harder styles. Complex even hosts an official afterparty for the real night owls.

Breakfast Club: Summer In The City

Have a croissant, an orange juice… and pair it with some of the finest thumping beats on Saturday morning! Breakfast Club takes its unique concept to Der Hintergarten, an oasis in the middle of the city for a 12-hour danceathon. The lineup is just as good as the concept: Eversines, Ogazón, Vlada, and more...

No Art Festival

Did you know No Art is an anagram of house duo ANOTR? The house selector duo brings their No Art Festival to Flevopark this year, where famous DJs like Peggy Gou, Moodymann, and Astra Club (Carlita & DJ Tennis) play alongside the festival originators. They’ve also announced an upgraded sound system, so head over to the east of Amsterdam to experience it for yourself.

Indian Summer Festival

Just above Alkmaar lies the festival terrain of Indian Summer Festival, where a massive ferris wheel, four stages, and a plenty of gorgeous decors sets the scene for this sparkling day. Natte Visstick plays his ‘meme techno’ alongside a show by producer Yung Felix, and Broederliefde. Oh, did we mention they blast fire and confetti at the main stage?

Nachtcollege Eindhoven

Effenaar is the largest concert hall in Eindhoven, and you’ll find it conveniently next to the central station. Take the train to learn a thing or two about dancing at ‘night college’, where Cassie Raptor, Cynthia Spiering, Lobster, Rikther (Live), and SHE/HER play the techno stage, and Gimbrère, Locklead, and Wouter S play the house stage.
